Some people build brands from business plans. I built this one from dogs.

It started long before I knew it would lead here

I'm James the one on the right blurred with blue shirt, and Garp is the one I made this for on the left.

Every time life got hard, every time things got heavy, it was always a dog that pulled me through. Not a plan. Not a strategy. A dog.

Growing up, there was Perth. A corgi-looking boy with black and brown markings, one of my earliest memories of what it felt like to have a dog just be there for you. Then Dachsy and Chopper, my dad's dogs, part of the household, part of the background of my life in ways I didn't appreciate until much later.

Hanzel was the one who changed things

My dad's dog. The first one I ever trained. And during one of the hardest times in my life, Hanzel was the one who got me through it. She didn't know she was doing anything special. She was just present. Consistent. Steady in the way only dogs can be.

Dogs don't ask how you're doing. They just stay. And sometimes, staying is the most powerful thing in the world.

Then Sasa

Sasa was my brother's dog. She was kept in a cage and she cried a lot. I couldn't take it. So I freed her. Let her roam. Gave her the life she deserved.

Sasa would later become the mother of the dog this whole brand is built around.

Garp

Garpie is my first dog. Really mine. A Japanese Spitz mix, fluffy, joyful, chaotic, gentle, and brave. Sasa's son. Brought home and loved from day one.

Then he was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy.

Watching him seize for the first time was hard. You feel completely helpless. But minutes after every seizure, Garp was back. Tail up. Eyes bright. Ready to go again, like there was no version of his life that wasn't worth living fully.

He never let it slow him down. He just kept going.

That's why this brand exists

Perth, Hanzel, Dachsy, Chopper, Sasa, Garpie. Every one of them gave me something I needed at the time.

"Dogiedog is my way of giving that back."

Every shirt celebrates a breed, a bond, and the belief that dogs live fully in the moment, no matter what.

With every purchase, we donate a meal to a shelter dog and $1 to canine research.

Not as a feature. As a debt I'm genuinely trying to repay.

This is Garpie's legacy. And it's for every dog that's ever pulled someone through.
